Cason Coy Grant was born in Abilene, Texas to Sidney and Pamela Grant on March 15, 1999. He graduated from Wylie High School in Abilene Texas. He then went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree from The University of Oklahoma. He received his college diploma in the mail on the day of his death.

Cason’s three passions in life were his faith, playing football and being a cowboy. Cason lived his life to the fullest, brought joy and laughter to every room that he walked into, and his faith walk is best summarized by the book written by John Eldridge, “Wild At Heart”. He pursued his dream of playing college football at Mississippi State and The University of Oklahoma. After a career ending injury, the Lord allowed Cason to fulfill his lifelong dream of working on a cattle ranch in Douglas, Wyoming.

Cason is survived by his parents, Sid and Pam Grant, sister Emily and her husband Braxton Oliver, his brother Taylor and his wife Hannah Grant, his sister Sydney Grant and his three nieces that he loved so dearly, Ellie, Olivia and Colbie. Other survivors include grandparents Jason and Gwen Barrett and James and Janice Grant.

Pallbearers will be Riley Bailey, Connor Carlton, Gatlin Martin, Hayden Murphy, Clay Stevens, Lee Tanner and Wyatt Wink.
