Carolyn Walter

Carolyn Jean Walter was 80 years old when she went to Heaven on March 2, 2023. 

Carolyn was born January 5,1943 in Goldsboro, North Carolina to George W. Davis and Alice M. Davis. She had three sisters and one brother, and she was the baby of the family. 

Carolyn was married 51 years to the late Russell E. Walter. They had two children: daughter, Anita J. McClellan and son, Jody J. Morales. They were a military family that traveled and lived in many places all over the world, until they settled in Buffalo Gap Texas. 

They both loved to host karaoke parties in their beautiful backyard with all their family and friends. Carolyn loved cooking for her family, dancing to her favorite songs, playing slot machines, and having an occasional glass of wine. She was a generous spirit with a fun personality, a huge heart and was loved by many. She never met a stranger and made a point to talk to everyone in the room. 

Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, George W. Davis, mother, Alice M. Davis, sisters, Alice (Fay) Davis and Eunice Rhodes, and brother, Burt (Bo) Leroy Davis.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by survivors: sister, Hazel (Susie) Woodward and her husband Woody Woodward; daughter, Anita J. McClellan; son, Jody J. Morales and his wife Lisa Morales; grandchildren: Jeffrey Morales, Whitney Morales, Georgia Fuller, Lyric Osborne, Amber Watkins, Michael Rudder and Joshua Rudder. She had seven great grandchildren and was "Nana" to so many more.

Services will be held on March 17, 2023, at 11am at The Texas State Veterans Cemetery located at 7457 W Lake Rd, Abilene, Texas. 79601.
