Carolyn Sue Palmer Smith, 82, of Snyder Texas, passed away on January 28, 2025, in Abilene Texas.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday,  February 8th, 2025. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene Texas.

Carolyn Sue Palmer Smith was born in Amarillo Texas to Jesse Will Franklin Palmer and Willie Vay Dolores Markham Palmer on October 1, 1942. She married Donald Glenn Smith on August 31, 1963, in Snyder Texas. She worked at Hallmark, JC Penny's, and Beall's Department Store. She was a devoted Baptist, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Carolyn is survived by her sister Linda Robinson of Snyder Texas. Son, Kip Glen Smith and wife Beth Smith of Gardendale Texas. Daughter, Audrey Dawn Smith Nall and Husband Ricky Nall of Mineral Wells Texas. Son, Koy Simon Smith of Hawley Texas. 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
