Carolyn Ruth Scarborough

Carolyn Ruth Scarborough died on April 29, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, May 6, 2011 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Carolyn was born March 1, 1944 in Austin, Texas to John and Ruth Hunnicutt. She attended public school in Austin, Texas, and Texas Tech University in Lubbock. She later moved to Abilene, Texas and had been a resident for the last 45 years. She was a former member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and the Junior League of Abilene. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Louise Scarborough, her grandson, Michael Scarborough, her sisters Dodie Delaney and Joann Taylor, and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Graham Scarborough-Davidson and both parents.
