Carl and Tammy Huskin, of Clyde, passed away Monday, August 4, 2008 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Carl was 50 years old and Tammy was 47 years old. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Clyde, 216 Austin Street, Clyde, Texas. Burial will follow in the Clyde Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday in the chapel at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
Carl was born August 10, 1957 in Abilene, Texas to Claude and Jean (Williams) Huskin. He graduated from Abilene High School. He was a musician and loved to play the guitar.
Tammy was born January 18, 1961 in Abilene, Texas to Jim Farmer and Patsy Weaver. She also graduated from Abilene High School. She loved to fish.
The couple owned and operated a window manufacturing company, Clearlight, Inc., in Abilene. They were dedicated and loving parents and proud grandparents.
Carl and Tammy are survived by their son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Jennifer Huskin, of Abilene, and their two grandchildren, Reagan and Mason Huskin.
Tammy is survived by three brothers, Randy Couch and his wife Deana of Abilene, and Terry Sisneros and his wife Becca, also of Abilene, and Jerry Farmer of California; four sisters, Melissa Couch, of Brownwood, Cindi Edwards, of Abilene, Jamie Loehman and her husband Brandon, of South Carolina, and Wanda Stephens, of Kerrville. Tammy's parents, Jim Farmer and Patsy Weaver, preceded her in death.
Carl is survived by two brothers, Allen Huskin and his wife, Janice, of Austin, and Jimmy Huskin and his wife Janet, of Abilene; two sisters, Cindy Boyd, of Abilene, and Debbie Huskin Moot, also of Abilene. Carl's parents, Claude and Jean Huskin, preceded him in death.
The couple is also survived by several aunts and uncles, and numerous nieces and nephews.
