Bud Coats

Bud Coats, 37, of Abilene, passed away Friday, January, 16, 2015 in Abilene, Texas. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Beltway Park Baptist Church. Mike Hill will officiate. Burial will follow in the Midway Cemetery in Coleman County, Texas. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Bud was born on July 29, 1977 in Abilene to Deral and Pam Coats. He graduated from Clyde High School and attended Cisco Junior College. Bud worked for Sharp Oilfield Services. He is survived by his father, Deral Coats of Novice; his mother, Pam Marlar and her husband Robert of Richardson; his daughter CaLece Coats of Abilene; his brother, Dustin Coats and his wife Erica of Abilene; his paternal grandmother, Shorty “MeMe” Coats of Novice; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and relatives. Memorials may be made in Bud’s honor to Beltway Park Baptist Church.
