Brylee Elaine Slatton
Jesus has chosen our loving Brylee to live in heaven with Him instead of on earth. She has amazed us every day of her life. Overcoming too many obstacles to count and giving more joys, laughs, and blessings than can be counted as well, even when they told us she couldn’t, she did. Brylee taught us new ways of doing things all the time and always wanted her one-on-one time with her people. She amazed us every day, even on the days she didn’t feel well, she could make you laugh.
Brylee was a rare jewel, and she had this way of making you sing with her certain songs she knew you would sing to. She loved her daddy playing his guitar while she did her little dance. And one of her favorites was “Washed in the Blood.” Loved spending time with her big sister in her room jamming to music or reading a book. Mom was her comfort zone and number one. She loved snuggles with her every day. She loved school and her friends. In her wonderful amazing nine years she had a great impact on so many.
Brylee was born on February 21, 2015, in Abilene. She went with Jesus on March 1, 2024. She is survived by her parents, Cody and Darcie Slatton; sister, Callie Slatton; grandparents, Ray and Jan Dukes and David and Donna Stevens; also, by numerous uncles, aunt, cousins, great uncles, great aunts, and extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be, Cody Slatton, Davin Stevens, Eric Melde, Marshall Orsag, Kenny Smith, and Gary Smith. Honorary pallbearer will be Bruce Fowler.
We want to express our deepest thank you to everyone who helped our amazing Brylee accomplish so much in her life.
