Bridgette Carole Miller

Bridgette Burns Miller, 34, died Monday, June 21, 2010, in Abilene. The daughter of Carolyn (Simmons) and Timothy I. Burns, Bridgette was born on August 19, 1975 in Abilene, Texas, and graduated from Wylie High School in 1994. She attended South Plains College in Levelland, Texas, and American Airlines Travel Academy in Dallas. Bridgette worked in sales in the cosmetic department at Beall's Department Store. She also worked as a nurse's aide. Bridgette loved people and tried to help them and cheer them up anytime she could. She was a member of Potosi Baptist Church. Bridgette is survived by her husband, Shannon Miller of Abilene; three sons, Jacob Davis of Potosi, and Kaden Miller and Ryder Miller both of Abilene; parents, Tim and Carol Burns of Potosi; brother, Mark Burns of Houston; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 25, at Potosi Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Clifton officiating, directed by The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene. Interment will follow in Potosi Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 24, at the funeral home.
