Brandy Michelle Ramos, 36 of Abilene, passed away on June 19, 2012 in Abilene, Texas.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 Friday, June 22nd at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday June 23rd at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel with Tracy Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Gap Cemetery.
Brandy was born in Abilene, Texas to Larry and Debra Norman on August 29, 1975. She graduated from Cooper High School in 1993. She married Robert Ramos on January 27, 2001 in Lubbock, Texas. She enjoyed employment with Hendrick Medical Center as a Certified Nurses Aide, while she was progressing towards her goal to become a nurse. Brandy was a dedicated baptized Jehovah's Witness.
Brandy was preceded in death by her great grandmother Laura Mae Boyd of Rule, Texas.
Brandy is survived by her husband Robert Ramos, children Gabriella and Isaiah, parents Larry and Debra Norman of Abilene, sister Mindy Lowery and husband Dustin of Plainview, brother Zach Norman and wife Thao of Dallas, sister Hannah Carter and husband Robert of Flower Mound, and nieces Layne and Shelby of Plainview. Survivors also include grandparents Burton and Joy Norman of Abilene, Robert Fairfield Sr. of Washington State, and Neva Barnes of California, and mother-in-law and father-in-law Jesse and Melissa Ramos of Floresville, Texas.
Brandy had a large close-knit extended family and loved all of them deeply.
