Brad Lindley, 42, Rotan, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019 in Houston.
Viewing will be on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 8 am to 8 pm at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Pioneer Drive Baptist Church in Abilene with Rev. Stan Allcorn, officiating. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
Brad was born on October 12, 1976 in Abilene, Texas. He graduated from May High School in 1995. He attended Tarleton State University. While living in May, Texas, Brad was a member of the May Volunteer Fire Department. In 1998, he moved to Rotan. He worked in the oilfield as a spooler/bander. Brad was a member of the Rotan Volunteer Fire Department where he was currently serving as assistant chief. He loved fishing, hunting, playing golf and softball. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Texas Longhorn fan. Brad loved his family and friends unconditionally. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Brad is survived by his mother, Mona Lindley of Granbury, Texas; his father, Dean “Tick” Lindley of May; his sister, Mandi Froid and husband Tony of Weatherford, Texas; his niece and nephew, Toni and Trevor Froid both of Weatherford; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Rotan Volunteer Fire Department, 200 S. Garfield Ave, Rotan, Texas 79546.
