Bobby Joe Hubbard, Jr.

Bobby “Joey” Hubbard, 57, of Abilene, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Abilene.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Church of the Heavenly Rest, Episcopal, 602 Meander Street, with Father Douglas Travis, officiating.  Immediately following the service, a reception will be held in the Gerhart Hall at the church. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Joey was born in San Antonio, Texas to Bobby Joe Hubbard, Sr. and Jeanne Loeser on February 18, 1961. He married Priscilla Ann Kern on March 30, 1990 in San Antonio. Joey was employed with Insco Distributing for 38 years. He was a member of the Baptist Youth Organization. He loved animals, friends, old cars, his family, and life. 

Joey was preceded in death by his mother.  He is survived by wife, Priscilla; two sons, Shawn Hubbard and Nathan Hubbard both of Abilene; his father, Bobby Joe Hubbard, Sr. of San Antonio; two brothers, Craig Hubbard and Steven Hubbard both of San Antonio; two sisters, Lezlie Sims and husband Mike of Tallahassee, Florida and Christina Hubbard of San Antonio.
