Blanche Vezina

Blanche Marie Vezina, 100, of Abilene, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, in Abilene.

A Prayer service and Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2024 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd., Abilene.

Memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 6, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 5410 Buffalo Gap Rd., Abilene. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New London, Connecticut at a later date. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd.

Blanche was born in Westerly, Thode Island, To Adelarde and Lea (Menard) on Wednesday, July 9, 1924. She was a teller for Bank of America for many years before retiring. Blanche was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Abilene.

Blanche is survived by her niece, Willys Treanor and husband Stanly of Abilene; grand-nephew Stephen and wife Janine Treanor of Chico, CA., their son Andrew Treanor; daughter, Sara Armbrust and husband Dirk with their daughter Anna and son Karl of Rosebud, TX; nephew, Robert Curtis and wife Marilyn of Isle of Palms, SC., their son, Michael Curtis and wife Sonya, with daughter, Essie, all of Houston, TX and their daughter Lesley Oswick and husband Bret, with their two daughters, Eleanor and Caroline, all of Houston.
