Billiroi Boswell

Billiroi Boswell, 91, went to her heavenly rest on Friday, October 23, 2009 at an Abilene nursing home. Born in Paint Rock, Texas on July 16, 1918, she was the daughter of Nellie (Hall) and Walter Boswell. Billiroi was a longtime resident of Concho County and a rancher. Fifteen years ago she moved from Paint Rock to Abilene. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Walter Boswell and Scott Boswell. Billiroi is survived by her daughter, Nelli Joy Deike of Abilene; three grandchildren, Frank William Deike of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Julie Darleen Mitzel and Angela June Deike both of Abilene; and two great-grandchildren, Danelle Nichole Campbell of Ballinger and Kamoria Lynn Deike of Abilene. Thanks is given to Hospice of the Big Country for making Billiroi's last days comfortable. There will be a celebration of her life at a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, October 30, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene.
