Baylee Faith Myers passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in Ft. Worth, Texas at the age of 4. She won her battle against Neuroblastoma but sadly a cold virus infected her lungs and she could not recover.
Her brave battle began January 15, 2016 when she was diagnosed with stage four high risk Neuroblastoma; 100% of her bone marrow was infiltrated with Neuroblastoma and four bone lesions. She courageously completed five rounds of high dose chemo therapy and successfully completed two stem cell transplants. After the second transplant, Baylee contracted rhino virus which infected her little lungs. She bravely fought the virus for three weeks before the Lord called his little angel home. Tuesday, Baylee was reunited with her brother, Brayden Rodgers Myers and her maternal grandfather, Steve Rodgers, who both preceded her in death in 2012.
Baylee was born May 15, 2012 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Brian and Stephanie Myers. Left to cherish her sweet memory are her parents, Brian and Stephanie Myers of Abilene; her brother, Colton Myers and her sister, Brianna Jones, both of Abilene; her maternal grandparents, Mary and Bill Boothe of Abilene and Stephanie Rodgers of Talty; her paternal grandparents, Cindi and Jim Harcourt, also of Abilene and David and Mary Myers of Victoria.
Services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Beltway Park Church with Pastor Randy Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Caps Cemetery with Pastor Brad Miles officiating. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
Brandon Myers, Tim Love, David Myers, Colton Myers, Nick Gooch and Bill Boothe will serve as pallbearers.
