Born Barbara Hamil on January 4, 1945 in Freer, Texas; she was the 4th of 5 children of C.M. and Vivian Ovello Hamil. She was a loving Christian that always felt most home in Texas. Growing up she spent vacations at the lake with her cousins. She continued the tradition as an adult, taking her children to the Truesdell family reunion every summer. She loved outdoor activities including skiing and camping.
She married James (Jim) Condron on May 16, 1992 and they had 31 years together before he passed in 2023. Barbara inherited a creative soul from her mother, sewing clothes, dolls and other items for her kids and eventually grandkids. She had an eye for fashion and sewed herself stylish dresses, jackets and suits. She painted, drew and made gifts for family and friends. Barbara always demonstrated the importance of self-care by eating healthy and doing her daily exercises, making sure to have an after dinner sweet treat to keep life balanced. Most importantly she showed her family the importance of loving and taking care of each other.
After retiring, Barbara and Jim traveled to all of the exotic places she had always dreamed, returning home to Texas after every trip excited to share those adventures with the family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C.M. and Vivian Hamil; her husband, Jim Condron; brother, Ronald Hamil, and one grandchild, Ezri Galdiano.
