Audrey Anne McKnight, 89, of LaVilla, Texas, passed away on Thursday, 21 December 2023 in Potosi, Texas.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, December 29, 2023 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel, under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road and a private burial will follow at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene.

Audrey Anne McKnight was born in LaVilla, Texas, to William Richard and Gladys Edith Bergman on 7 December 1934. She went to school in Crystal City, Texas, from which she graduated. She married Frank John McKnight on 15 June 1962 in her family's garden in Elsa, Texas. She worked as secretary for Valley Acres for 5 years prior to becoming a dedicated loving wife, future mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Audrey was preceded in death by her Mother, Father and Brother, Bill Bergman. 

Audrey is survived by her husband, Frank J McKnight, son Frank (and Kelley) J McKnight, Jr, son Michael (and Margie) W McKnight, daughter Judith (and Jeffrey) A LaFrance; 12 grandchildren, John (and Ashley), Matthew (and Shelbie), Shannon (and Joseph), Jeffrey (and Hali), Jessica, Haley (and Christopher) and Kristen; 10 great grandchildren, Carter, Keagan, Kenna, Elizabeth, Alexandra, Jeffrey, Maverick, Weston, Raylan, and Emma.
