Ashley Espree Abel

Ashley Espree Abel left this world to join her sister and best friend, Sara Elizabeth, in the next on August 14, 2015. She was blessed with the most kind and loving heart, and always was willing to help anyone in need. Ashley would put the needs of others ahead of herself. Because Ashley was so gentle and kind, she felt very deeply. She suffered many loses of loved ones at an early age. As a result, she experienced clinical depression throughout her adult life. We believe she is now at peace and happy. Born in Abilene, Texas on September 5, 1978, Ashley attended AISD, Cisco College and Texas College of Cosmetology. Ashley was a talented hairdresser and her father cherished his "Ash" cuts. Ashley was preceded in death by her grandparents and her sister, Sara. She leaves behind her parents, Nancy and Steve and her most beloved Papillon, Carson. A private family service will be held at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, and a celebration of Ashley's life will be announced at a later date. The family thanks all for their many acts of kindness and their prayers.
