Annette Broyles

Annette Broyles, 66, went to be with her beloved pets on August 27, 2023.  Visitation will be Friday, September 1, 2023, 6-8 pm at The Hamil Family Funeral Home 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. 

Annette was born July 25, 1957, to Bill M. and Betty J. Broyles in Abilene, TX.  She graduated from Abilene High School in 1975 and spent 1 ½ years at Texas Tech University before becoming Traffic Manager at KLBK-TV in Lubbock, TX.  She later held the same position at KTXS-TV in Abilene for approximately 35 years prior to retiring in 2020. 

Annette was preceded in death by her parents and her niece, Amelia Broyles.  She is survived by brothers Bill and wife Grace, their children Benjamin & Abigail and Tim Broyles and wife D’Nette, their children Amanda Carroll & Hope Carroll.  Also, several cousins and their families that were dear to her. 

A private family celebration will be held on a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Rescue the Animals of Abilene, your own local animal shelter or the charity of your choice.
