Andrew Thomas Pruitt

Andrew Thomas Pruitt, 16, of Abilene, passed away on October 11, 2017 in Abilene, TX. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, October 13th at The Hamil Family Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 14th at Beltway Park South Campus. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. Andrew was born in Abilene, TX to Beth & Rod Pruitt on May 17, 2001. He was a sophomore at ATEMS High School. He worked as a sacker at Market Street the last few months. He was an Eagle Scout Candidate from BSA Troop 272 and member of Order of The Arrow. He was also active in his school's student council and robotics team & Destination Imagination as well as in Beltway Student Ministry. Andrew was preceded in death by his grandmother, Annette Pruitt. Andrew is survived by his parents Beth & Rod Pruitt, brother Joshua Pruitt, grandparents Robert Pruitt, Jr. and John & Judy Rickman, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.
