Amos L. "Ducky" Walden, 91, of Abilene, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, in Abilene.

Ducky was born to Bessie Mae (Carter) and Amos Leroy Walden on January 20, 1930, in South Taylor County, Texas. He went to school in Ovalo. He married Dorothy Faye Shipp on April 30, 1959, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ducky was an automobile salesman having owned and operated his own dealership, Walden Motors and later sold used appliances. He was a member of Broadview Baptist Church and his happiest moments in life were serving with the Prison Ministry. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Army.

Ducky was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy on September 14, 2016; brother, Wade Walden, and sister, Juarie Aldredge.

He is survived by his sister; Laurie Ince and husband Zurl and several nieces and nephews.

He will be missed by all who knew him.
