Amanda Renee Charlton, 30, of Abilene, TX died in a car accident on March 26, 2021.
Services will be held at 1pm, Saturday, April 10th, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road with The Rev. Mary Glover officiating.
Amanda was born in Abilene, TX to Melissa Winfield Springer and Paul David Root on July 22, 1990. She attended Cooper High. Amanda’s joy in life was her children, Auston, 6, and Jayden, 4. Amanda was a woman of simple needs; she always wanted a home and children. She had an open face, a tender heart, an infectious laugh, and a kind and gentle spirit.
Amanda was preceded in death by her infant son, Abel Lee Sanchez, Jr., her grandparents, Darlene and Harry Root of Abilene, and her aunt, Tracy Root of Abilene.
Amanda is survived by her husband, Nickalus Charlton and their sons, Auston and Jayden Charlton; brothers, Zachary Southwood and Christopher Davila; sister, Shayla Maxwell; mother, Melissa Springer; father, Paul Root, and grandparents, Debbie Howerton and John Winfield.
