Long and his wife, Marilyn, of Abilene, by her daughter Patricia Armbruster and her husband, Fred, also of Abilene, by her grandchildren Tracy Arnold, and her husband Eric, of Nashville, Tennessee; Kelly Armbruster of McKinney, Texas; Scott Long and his wife, Meredith, of Dallas, Texas; and Matt Armbruster and his wife, Michelle, of Lubbock, Texas; and by her great-grandchildren Griffin Arnold and Reese Arnold of Nashville, Bennett Long of Dallas, and Wyatt Armbruster of Lubbock. She is also survived by her sister Christie Ann Kinsaul of Atlanta, Georgia, by her nieces Clara Ann King, Carol Ann Arvan, and Suzanne Johnson, her nephews Jay King and James King, and by extended family.
Alice’s family also wishes to acknowledge her lifelong friends, Dr. D. G. Porterfield and Aliece Porterfield, and her loving caregiver, Candice Barber.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in Alice’s name be made to First United Methodist Church of Abilene, McMurry University, the Salvation Army, or to the donor’s preferred charity.
